What are cookies?

- Authentication session (Google sign-in, when you choose to sign in) — keeps you securely logged in to your account. Duration: session.
- Session renewal (Google sign-in) — renews your authenticated session so you are not logged out unexpectedly. Duration: up to 30 days.
- Application draft (set by vuvgo.com) — auto-saves your form draft so you can resume your application later. Duration: 30 days.
- Security and fraud prevention (set by vuvgo.com) — protects forms and payments against abuse. Duration: session.
2. Functional / preference (with consent)
These cookies remember the choices you make so the service behaves the way you expect.
- Language preference (set by vuvgo.com) — remembers your chosen language. Duration: 1 year.
- Currency preference (set by vuvgo.com) — remembers your chosen display currency. Duration: 1 year.
3. Analytics and monitoring (with consent)
These cookies help us understand how the service is used so we can keep it reliable and improve it. The information is used in an aggregated, low-identifiability form.
- Product analytics (PostHog) — measures page views, application funnel and feature usage. Duration: up to 12 months.
- Error monitoring (Sentry) — records technical errors and performance issues so we can fix them. Duration: up to 12 months.
4. Marketing
We do not currently use marketing cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for fresh consent before setting them.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted third-party services we rely on to operate the service. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies:
- PostHog and Sentry — analytics and error monitoring.
- PayPal — secure payment processing (you pay by card or PayPal balance; the government fee and our service fee are collected through this provider).
- Google — sign-in, only if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
- Tawk.to — the live-chat widget (functional): remembers your chat session so a conversation can continue across pages.
How to manage cookies

- Update your preferences at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.
